Artist’s bio
Insil Choi
Insil is an illustrator with a passion for science and medicine. She is currently a second-year graduate student in Medical and Biological Illustration graduate program at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She received her BFA in Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design where she discovered the perfect career path that she can pursue both art and science.
Her past experience includes working at the Marie Biological Laboratory in Massachusetts for the Encyclopedia of Life project. Her illustrations were published as covers on prominent science journals, Nature and Cell.
Her ultimate goal as medical illustrator is to bridge the gap between science and the public through art.
